Lee, Dear-
I did not read the other replies cuz I promised myself I would go to bed soon, so I hope I'm not repeating what others have said.....

It sounds like you are going through what I was going through until just last week.  In fact, I think you advised me on this very subject!  It's so hard, isn't it??  People advised me to drop the carbs and increase the protein and that is exactly what I did.  And you know what???  The hunger stopped!  So your instincts are spot on here.  Those carbs do begin the crazy cycle you described.  It's easy to get into trouble, but fortunately for us, it is easy to stop the sabotaging cycle too!  So chin up and "STEP AWAY FROM THE CARBS"!  hee hee.  It only takes a couple of days and you should be pretty crave free!

Good luck!

Thanks Kathy!  The good thing about giving advice is that one day we'll need it ourselves and someone will toss it right back to us.  :)    I actually like how much better I feel with high protein/ lower carbs in my body.  I always functioned really well on Induction level Adkins.  While trying to lose my weight to get to my surgery goal, I acutally went to straight protein.

I'm stepping away!   :)

There must be something in the air. I have been starving all week trying to keep it in check. Its tough. I am right there with you on the carbs. Trying to force more protein. Just keep on keeping on~!

Nothing tastes as good as this feels!

Thanks D~

While I'm sorry you're going through this too, it's always great to know we're not alone.  I did great with the carbs yesterday..... until the movie popcorn.  Don't even ask but after how sick I got, it will hopefully be my last temptation in that arena.

Lee,

It has to the the fall that is doing it, and it did not help my cooking a batch of chili and freezing it for my future stages , thinking ahead.. but the smells of food did me in.
I must have opened the fridge yesterday 50 times for nothing. I made jello so that is also my plan for today.  SF pudding is my next thing to do... why not, it won't hurt.

Kristen,  what you're experiencing is normal.  YUM on the chili.  What a smart move on your part.  :)

I'm excited for you!!
