>5'5" and under 130?

Today I hit 139.  This got me to wondering if I could go below 130.  I'm just wondering if there is anyone out there that is 5'5" or taller and weighing in at less than 130?

My healthy weight range is 111 - 150.  So although friends and family may think I am too skinny now--going below 130 is not "underweight" status for me.

Any thoughts?

Well - I can't help you here, since I'm 5'3" and 127 myself...

I would think its very possible - but, what I wanted to tell you is to NOT be concerned about the "waif" look - when your friends and family say you are too skinny.  The weight WILL redistribute.  It also has a lot to do with your build and frame.

Getting down into the 130's will definitely give you some "bounce back" room of a few lbs down the road too.

Thanks Jody!  I appreciate your valuable insight as always.  Family and friends look at me nuts when I say I'd like to lose another 10 lbs.  I haven't weighed this amount since I was probably 10 years old! hahaha  So although they might think its extreme--in all reality, I don't think it is!

On a much more sunnier note, how is that precious grandbaby of yours?

Jody,
I wanted to ask you this in a private message, but your profile is private.... You live in Traverse City, Michigan, right?  I grew up in Michigan (by way of CA).  I lived in a suburb north of Detroit.  It's so pretty up where you are. My son went to Interlachen last summer.  My college roommate lives up there. Her name is Mary Byl. Do you know her?  Maybe I'm wrong in thinking it's a small enough town for everyone to know each other.  She lost a son named Tucker in some sort of accident a few years back, but I haven't wanted to pry about what happened. Does this wring a bell?

Yes, I live in TC.  It has grown here tremendously - and is now considered a mid-size town.  It is beautiful up here, but the winters can be brutal.

I'm going to Interlochen tonight for a concert!

Hmmm - Mary Byl... no, it doesn't wring a bell.  I'll ask the ladies I'm going out with tonight to see if they know her or what happened.

I still havent figured out the whole "how much should I weigh" thing.   Im about 4 lbs from a normal BMI, but yet I would still like to lose about 10 - 15 lbs.  But on the other hand Im getting the "you're loosing too much weight" comments.  Im 5'  8'   I'll be curious to see everyones response.  Cindy

Cindy, I think those comments come from family and friends who have always known us as the obese person.  I'm getting a lot of flack from my mom and sister who freaked out  when they saw me in a bra and panties set.  The loose skin is not all that attractive and the flat pancake boobs are pretty scary too! hahaha

I'm already getting the "you're not losing anymore, right?" comments, and have no intention of stopping anytime soon.  I am -almost- 5'6" and ideally, I would like to get to 125 to allow for bounce-back to 130.  I don't know how realistic that is, but I HAVE been that small before so we'll see.
