a "Just for fun" post
Geesh - I've seen a lot of Pre-op food others have posted I didn't know was bad for post-op!!
Pre-op
1. Potato chips
2. Pizza (anything carby)
3. Beer
4. fried anything (french fries, onion rings, fish, chicken)
post Op - well - I COULD still live on those above but I don't... what I find I gravitate towards are:
1. protein coffee
2. greek yogurt mixed with various goodies
3. meat - baked chicken, grilled steak/shrimp/veggies
4. Ok- I'll fess up - still drink the beer/wine
I dumped on watermelon... sad....

Pre-Op
1. Olive Garden Salad
2. Potatoes in any form
3. Cake
Post-op (Im only 14 days)
1. Whole Foods extrordinary Egg Salad
2. Whole Foods Curried Chicken Salad
3. Guacamole
Sure this list will change, but I always loved Whole Foods salads, but never let myself buy them because of the expense. Now that I eat so little they don't seem so outrageous...Off to eat some WF blackened chicken salad.
I would love to try Greek Yougurt again, but I am scared since the lactose intolerance set in....maybe I will be brave soon.
