Belly button yeast.......gross!

So I'm actually excited I have another yeast infection in my belly button........lol  I have had one other instance back in January.  When I went in for my 1 yr f/u Dr Jeff asked me if I have had any skin issues and as you can see from my pics I've been fairly lucky to not have a ton of sagging skin....but unlucky enough to to have what I have, which is not enough to ever have insurance cover a TT withour some other issue.  So Dr. Jeff told me that I need to take pictures and go to my PCP and have the infection documented since the more reoccurances I have documented the more likely it is he will beable to get approval for a TT!  So here I am happy with a gross stinky belly button yeast infection and.............I LOVE IT!

Now, I wonder if that's what I had last week too!  It was sore, red and smelly.  I just cleaned it with a q-tip, and put aquaphor ointment in there.  Maybe I should have gone to my pcp too for the same reasons!  Well, thanks to you I will next time.... thanks for the post!

No Problem Mara.....I'm happy my yeast infection is helping others.......LOL  Yeah my surgeon told me it is quite common and actually a problem many WLS patients have!    Sounds like that is exactly what you had..........PICTURES when it's at it's worst too........don't forget the pictures!   LOL
