My sisters are funny

I have two sisters and we all live in different states (GA, TN, TX).  I chose to tell one sister about my surgery because we are closer and I knew she would be positive.  I didn't not tell the other because I knew she would be negative and we are not as close.

After I had surgery, I announced it to the family.  My sisters have been talking about my surgery choice.  They have decided that I had my surgery because I don't want to be the "fattest sister."

My morbid obesity and health conditions are why I had surgery.  It seems my surgery has motivated both of them to work on their weight loss because they are concerned that one of them will be the "fattest sister."

They are making me laugh.

I guess you'll be out of their little competition, then. Let 'em fight it out! lol

Good for you for motivating them!!  I went from the largest in my family to now being the smallest and I love it.  So far my family has been very supportive - I hope yours is also.

Gotta love Sisters!  I have 3 of them.  I have always been the heaviest of us 4 girls.   Glad to say I no longer hold that title.   Cindy

You know you just messed up the family dynamics.  We all have our roles assigned to us.  I've always "taken after dad", so I will really be messing with their heads when I have my surgery.  I have always been the biggest, got diabetes "just like dad", etc. etc.  I finally decided to do something about my health and not accept my "lot in life".
