Fitness Challenge - September 27

LW's!!! Ready for a new week of fitness? 

What would you like to accomplish today? This week? 

Me?? Well, just getting back to 'normal' these days so just a brief walk will do. I think I may pull a Gina and do some push ups against the wall or counter...that would do just fine

I hope you all have a great super fantabulously smooth Monday!! I have lots of work to do at work and today is my 19th wedding anniversary. We'll have to postpone the celebratory ceremony for a few more weeks but we'll enjoy a nice dinner tonight at least. Any recommendations for a nice anniversary dinner??

Hi Diana,

Congratulations on 19 years.  That's a really big deal!  Meat, veggies, fruit dessert.  :)

I'm going slower today.  It's been super hot here for the last few days.  Saturday I worked out 2 hours and yesterday I took a hike in the heat for an hour and 45 minutes.  Those uphills were kicking my tush yesterday.

Today I'll do my 90 minutes of walking.  I'm going to get in 3 miles this morning while it's still cool out.

Thanks Lee...ya dear hubby and I have been together since we were 18 years old. He's 7 months older than me. So we've been together for 21 years total as a couple. That's half my life with him...lol I tell him he's in for a long haul....he must not have read the fine print.....lol

Yup, the heat wave i****ting us this week too. Awesome job on those hills. !!

Steak and veggies.  Or baked chicken and veggies... or sushi... see - I'm a pretty simple person - lol

Miles today:  I'm going to the gym after work and will do the treadmill for at least 30 minutes then do some weights.  I'll do an hour of zumba after that.

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

Thank you Jody....I like simple too. I'll have to see what I feel like after lunch...

Great job on the gym routine! Go zumba for me too!!

Hope your anniversary dinner was good! 

Spent an hour on the treadmill tonight rested for 15 minutes then very fast paced zumba tonight.  My tush is feeling it already....

I got up at 4:30 and did 45 minutes on my treadmill, 200 crunches, 30 push-ups, and the plank. I'll probably do another set of push-ups and crunches before going to sit at CPR class for 4 hours tonight.

Shannon...you are so inspiring to wake up that early and do that level of fitness....you go girl!! I love (and sometimes hate) the plank. Good stuff...
