blood work for vits

RNY on 05/03/13 with
ok so i went to the dr aug 24th my results for my cholostrol were 152 my all tme high was 357 yayyy i was on 40 mil lovastatin but he put me on 20 mil and in 3 months hell check again that same morn i asked him to take blood work for any vitamin deficiencies i called him this morning and he said that my folic acid and b 12 was normal
i guess thats good right? but what about any other vits? im confuzzled do i need more blood work ?

You need a CBC, comprehensive metabolic panel, iron, ferritin, TIBC, iron Sat%, vitamin D25hydroxy, PTH

You should also ask for your B12 level, just because he says it is normal, doesn't mean it is normal for a WLS patient. We like our levels much higher than normal.
