Where is the energy fairy???
Without waiting for your yearly labs in November, I would see if you can get some specific ones done now by your PCP to see if you can figure out why you are so exhausted. Here is a list of things that can make you really exhausted.
Iron, ferritin, TIBC, iron sat%, vitamin D25hyroxy, PTH, B12, TSH, Total T3, Free T3, Total T4, Free T4, DHEA (adrenal hormone that when deficient causes severe fatigue).
Are you on synthroid? Many of us that are on synthroid, need to have our levels checked quite often and need our doses changed post op. I am 23 months out and have had my dosage changed 4 times already. I am on 2 thryoid medications - synthroid and cytomel. If you aren't on any thyroid medication, it is possible that you have become hypothyroid - that is another popular occurance postop. I find my TSH and Total T3 are the levels that are off the most.
I have had my 4 year old grand daughter for 4 days... I can't tell you how many time in 1 minute she says..."Grandma" I swear... I wanted to lock myself in a closet.... but then again, she is only 4.
Whining 31 year old mother, I am not putting up with that 'crap" at all.
Hormones.. you bet... guess I get to look forward to being real short tempered after my surgery next week. My own daughter... is inconvienced because I will be in the hospital and unavailable for babysitting.... any one want her?
