Happy dance underway in NC
I'm so overjoyed that I just have to share!!! I've been going to the Weigh****cher meetings just to keep track of my weight on a weekly basis. Today [yes, we have two Sunday meetings here at the Cary, NC WW Center] I have lost 60 lbs since April 19th!!!!!
That averages out to 12 lbs per month for me.
And, for the non-scale victory, or NSV, I bought my first pair of Levi's in a size 14 in I cannot even remember when!!!!! OMG - banner weekend for me!!!!
When I remember back just a few short months ago, I stalled at week three and did not lose one ounce for 28 days. I went back to work after being off for 5 weeks and had a 17 lbs loss to show for it. I was devastated. The plateau at week three can play havoc with you as you wonder just what is wrong, what you are doing wrong and whether or not you will be the only person on earth where RNY/GBS will be another diet failure. If you are there right now, just remember to follow your doctor and dietician's plan - the weight will begin to drop. As someone posted sometime this summer: Patience, Grasshopper!
I'm a lightweight and know that the last 30-40 lbs will not fall off quite as quickly as the first 60, so I begin the sprint to the finish line now hoping to be that much closer to my goal at the one year mark. With the wonderful support I've gotten from DH, my friends and coworkers, and the Obesity Help Community, I know I will be successful!
Thank you one and all and may God bless you on your journey.

Wonderful and congrat. I'm sure the rest will keep coming off if you just keep up your attitude and following the program.
