I am not sleeping well at night. Not sure what it is but I'm just not. I am feeling like I have jet lag after the third or fourth day in a row. Thought I might try some tylenol PM tonight. Anybody else have sleep issues??? Have you tried it?? Don't want anything habit forming but I have to get some ZZZZ's I am so grumpy...depressed....and soooo tired!

Basically its tylenol with benadryl so if you aren't having pain no reason for the tylenol. Its not habit forming and ok to take....some ppl need 25 mg some need 50mg. Just depends...I would start with 25 to make sure u don't have a hangover in the am from it and use as little as it takes to get good nights sleep. You many not need it every night anyway but its worth a try. I personally never have any trouble sleeping but if I did I would try that first.

I do tylenol pm almost every night. I take the 25 mg and cut it in half. I do have some hangover effect if I do not take my nasal spray.  I still sleep with the bipap, so the nasal passages are pretty dry. If I do not open my mouth during then night, I might even wake up without the hangover. A b12 or some caffiene will generally take care of the morning drowsiness.

I used to think it was habit forming. I would get off it every weekend and would have a hard time sleeping the first night. Come to find out, I was getting a Starbucks on Friday afternoon, so could not sleep that night. Did not have a sleep aid last night. Was a bit groggy, so a b12 and i was fine the rest of the day.

So sorry about your exhaustion.  I do hope that you find some good rest, soon, and that you're able to keep it up long enough to sustain you.

Try some progressive relaxation tapes or now probably on cd. These helped me tremendously when I had post partum depression and wasnt sleeping. Liked the idea of being drug free.
Tylenol pm is not a bad idea, but wouldnt depend on it for long.
Hope you get some zzzz's soon!

I've always battles insomnia but now it's worse. I tried the simply sleep by tylenol but never liked how it made me feel next day. So I am on Ambien against my husbands orders.  He thought I quit it but it sends me into a deep comatose slumber for about 6 hours. I am dead to the world and feel great the next day. It;s a very strong drug and after surgery it became almost an hallucingetic so I take it and go right to bed.
