Get rest, walk, sip your water!  Don't worry too much about the protein or vitamins for the first few days!  You'll feel better day by day!  Congratulations!  Surgery itself is 51% of the battle....you are on your way!!

I found that the improved daily was impressive once I got home.  Just take care and sip, walk and rest.

 Welcome home, Kat!  I found it helpful to focus on one goal at a time.  I started with water.  Once I mastered that, I moved on to protein.  Once I mastered that, I moved on to vitamins.  Of course, it's good to have all three, but I didn't get there until a couple of weeks out.  

By the time I could master all 3, I felt soooooo much better.  Because we need all three, as it were... ;)

Take care and take note of the daily improvements.  It helps with the psychological aspects of recovery!
