Yay I got approved!!
Hello everyone! I know I've been MIA for quite sometime now. Too long...but I have been lurking and checking the site. Checking up on everyone and how they've been. Well things have been good for me still have a job! Amen to that. Well don't know if you all recall me trying to get my panni removed and having it processed through my health insurance and all the requirements and regulations that needed to be submitted to my insurance company for approval. Well had some hassles with my original plastic surgeon so I dumped him and went to another. Well had consult back in July but was very forward and upfront about it not being approved by insurance due to lack of excess skin in my apron area. But submitted to insurance either way and gave me a surgery date of October 13. Well about a few weeks ago I received the most awesome news! My surgery was approved and will be getting my panni removed. Yay this is the most awesome feeling aside from getting the approval of my RNY. I will be 2 yrs post op in Jan and finally feel that with this surgery I will have a sense of relief and accomplishment in my journey of WL. I have been feeling as though I failed some how some way with the RNY. I will be like I said in Jan 2 yrs post op and in those 2 yrs I only lost 50 lbs. Which to me is failure when I see people who are only 4 months out with that much weight loss or even more. I don't understand why I haven't lost anymore. I know I have restriction, don't over eat drink my fluids. I've tried everything to try to push my matabolism to budge my weightloss and nothing budges it not even cardio. Well maybe a little but not like I think and feel it should. Don't get me wrong I'm happy with my weight and body and feel having this final surgery will complete my journey. And I will finally feel complete and comfortable in my skin.....

Thanks Linda, Its nice to be able to get to see everyone and how great they look. Some I don't even recognize lol...Well I will definetly keep everyone posted in my outcome with the panni. I'm a little worried about the pain and if I'll be able to tolerate it or handle it. I'll be off work for two weeks and then back on the 28th of October. So Thank you so much for your well wishes. I really need it and appreciate it.
