tiny wow moment

 I have a Charles Chang Lima wool  suit ....  again a fashion district find .  I took it when i was fat hoping i could fit into the nicely fitted jacket eventually ....  the skirt was TINY  and i mean MINUSCULE - like a 00 

Anyway i tried it on tonight and the jacket was a little large ..while the skirt ALMOST  buttoned (  i need one of those elastic buttons ) but it was otherwise FINE .  Wow !  

This OA centered food abstinence is going pretty well....but I havent seen even a small drop on the scale .  So fitting my clothes is a surprise .

Still , i have high hopes that once i can exercise  these last few lbs will come off n stay off .  U can only do the right thing for so long without  seeing a change in Ur body lol ! 

OA is helping me in a lot of ways - mainly to deal with the pressures of life without  overeating .  Its kind of amazing actually  that im not running from business calls and im doing my work and  recognizing unacceptable patterns in relationships without hiding my head in the sand . 

I can see now how trivial my life has been ... how its really just a patchwork of coping mechanisms masking  deep emotional pain that I must  deal with to feel successful.  GRRR.. but at least i have HOPE .  

Awesome on the suit.  And keep up dealing with those demons.  Progress is great!

Yay for MINI-WOW's!!!!  They keep us going!!  I'm definitely not a "fashionista" but I'm sure that suit is too die for.....you can't beat a well-fitting, gorgeous suit!!

Post a picture when you get in it.....It will be in no time!   Congrats on the OA successes...keep up the great work and self discovery!

I love the positive chage I've been hearing form you the last little while.  Glad you are doing well.
Fancy suits are certainly not the reality out here of the farm but it is fun to imagine the possibilites.  I'm sure you will be lovely in it.

I love reading your posts and imagining the east coast life of high-fashion! It all sounds so exciting! Here on the west coast, the fashion decision is more like deciding which colored socks to wear with their Birkenstocks! LOL

It sounds like OA is really helping you in your journey. That's so great! Keep up the hard work!

Good job Ava!  The thing I always loved about OA was that it was like being in a room full of Hope.  I eventually traded in OA for a meditation group that focuses on positive thinking and positive actions.  I've found that it helps me so much.  I love getting the Abraham-Hicks positive quotes in my email in the morning.

I think you're doing great and soon that patchwork is going to be an even more beautiful fabric.  Just remember that the patchwork is all part of you and you created it because you needed it.  Throw it some love the same way you do that cute little suit.  :)
