Good morning LW's. Today I start back to work. It's gonna be a long ass day. I'm tired already and I am only here 30 min...lol Anyways, I am a bit whooped from yesterdays jaunt. I am realizing I cannot push this recovery any faster. Damned it all...lol

So, my plan for today is to do small walks. That's it. Slow pace but still walks.

What about you? Are you sticking with your week's resolution? I saw yesterday you exceeded your goals for the day!!!  Yay YOU!!!

Let's us know what is motivating you to 'punch' through and squeek out more.

Have a great day LW's...

Hi Diana,

Good luck today with going back to work.  Remember that you come first and you still need to take care of yourself.   Good plan on the small walks because they equal a big walk in the end.

My plan is to walk for 90 minutes today.  I have to maximize on my long walks while the weather is good because I really enjoy the long walk to work.  I'm adding wall pushups in solidarity with Gina.  :)

What's motivating me this morning is that I'm down the two pounds I put on last week.  Now it's time to push forward.  I really want to shed more pounds before my 60th birthday.  I'm aiming for the 160's which is a big leap to shed 5 pounds in two weeks, but I'm going to really challenge myself.  Heck, maybe I can get down to the gym tonight!

Find joy everyone!

Good morning all.
I didn't get my walks in before it got hot but I did pull out the Wii and did 20 min of mostly step arobics and jobs so I think that was success.
Today I have gotten in one 10 min walk already and will try of another this afteronnon, or the Wii again.

Take it easy, Diana!

I got in a 4.5 mile run this morning. I miss those mornings when it's light out. It was SO dark today.

Hi Diana!

Tonight is Zumba.  A girlfriend is going with me, so that will keep me motivated so I don't "decide not to go"....

I'm bound and determined to get back into the exercising routine.  Joining the gym helped.  They have a bunch of free classes you can take - I was looking at the schedule today and wondering what else I'd like to do.  They've got yoga, pilates, spinning, zumba, boot camp (you have to pay for that one), and a bunch of others.  Of course most are during the day when I'm working... The ones I listed are after hours usually.

Take care of yourself and don't overdo it - that will only set you back.

I vowed to get back into the early morning routine, so I wrote myself a note on my alarm clock. It worked, and I feel so much better today.

45 minute run on treadmill
200 crunches
20 push ups
1:15 plank

I'll probably do some core exercises while watching Biggest Loser tonight. I always did that last season too. It makes me feel guilty to sit on the couch and watch them work their butts off!

What did the note say, Shannon?  I might need one, too...

LOL, I write myself notes all the time. Some say nice things like "stay on track, you're doing so great, get up and work out" Some say things like "get your fat, lazy ass out of bed and work out" It depends lol. This one said "Stay on track! Work out!"

Shelby (my Jack Russell Terrier) and i went for a nice long run this morning in our 'hood. It felt great, and finally, over the weekend, I broke out of my stall and lost 3 lbs!
