Fitness Challenge - September 20

Well it's Monday...I hope you all had a great fantabulously fun weekend!! 

If you haven't set any goals this week...what about your goal(s) for today?? I am posting a bit later because I wanted to get my walk in and SAY I did it not PLAN on doing it...lol 

My goal is to walk this week to build back up my endurance to fitness. Today I am off work but I go back to my normal 10 hrs days and my shift starts @ 6am. So my walks will be in the evening. I doubt my coworkers will allow me to walk at lunch...lol they are such mother hens. :)

Anyways...Today I walked 2.40 miles @ average pace of 17 min mile. Not bad I guess. 
Calories gone = 150....whoo hoo. Maybe I'll go to the YMCA and do the treadmill so I can get another walk in. 

What about you?? What goals do you want to accomplish today and this week??

Diana - I'm finally biting the bullet and going to the gym and buying a membership with unlimited classes.  I showed up yesterday and they close on Sat/Sun at 4pm - whats up with THAT?  They said they were "summer hours"..  ok...

So - with that - I'll get the membership, probably be shown around, maybe get on the treadmill for 2 miles - then ZUMBA!  The instructor from my Tuesday class teaches Zumba on Monday and Saturday at this gym (main reason I'm getting the membership there, plus they're cheap).

So - no more excuses!  I'm hoping I can get a personal trainer too (which the zumba instructor does too).

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

Jody.... yaya on the membership!!! Sounds great!! You'll have to keep us updated on the classes and training. 

No more excuses

That walk is catching up with me today so I think I will be down grading my 'pace' for my walks and still do them but at a leisure pace.

1/2 hr on the treadmill - - ran 20 minutes for 2 miles.  Then did weights.  Took a little break and did zumba for an hour!  Good day!

They have a bootcamp type class - oh boy am I tempted!

Bright and early did 40 minutes of strength training and yoga. I plan to really train this week. I may be taking someone's place in a 1/2 marathon at the end of October. I can't believe I said I could probably do it. Eeeek!

 Hi Team!

I did good today and surpassed my goal for the day,  YAY

Morning walk - 45 minutes
Lunch walk - 30 minutes
Walk home - 15 minutes
Walk to WW meeting - 30 minutes

Total - 2 hours walking!
