Hair Isn't Clogging the Drain Anymore!!
Well, starting at around 3 months postop, I began losing just a ton of hair. I would clog the drain each and every time I showered, plus fill my brush with more hair. I tried not to panic, since I have fine hair but a fair amount of it (if that makes sense). I took my biotin, hoping that would help with the new regrowth.
Just last week I noticed that I am no longer clogging the drain! I can take a shower and the water flows smoothly - no more pooling of water at my feet! This is a definite improvement. I am hoping I have turned the tide and will start gaining back some of my lost hair.
How about you? When you stopped losing hair and starting regrowing, did you get back to your previous volume?

I started losing my hair about 5 months post-op. I'm not sure when I stopped losing it though. I've always had a lot of hair so I wasn't too concerned. It seems like some days a lot still comes out and some days it doesn't. Right now its at the "normal" loss phase.

I agree - I kept waiting for it to stop while I still had some hair on my head!!! I don't think the loss is noticeable at all to any one else, but I can definitely tell the difference right now. I just hope it all eventually grows back. Having it come back as a nice natural blonde shade would be nice - but that may be too much to hope for! Right now it gets some help every 3 months from my hair stylist!
Mine started coming out around 3 months post-op. For a while it was really bad-I was losing wads of hair every time I took a shower. I'll be 8 months out on the 29th and I noticed last week that my hair is no longer falling out at a scary rate. It's still very thin-especially on top. Hopefully it will start filling in.
Mine out of the blue starting coming out like crazy at 4 mos post-op. At around 5 mos post-op, it pretty much stopped. Now I don't notice any more than usual coming out. I have tons of hair and I actually like it thinned out a bit, but I can see all kinds of baby hairs sticking up on my head, which indicates it's all coming back.....even the gray ones!
