SCARY STUFF!! Meeting with  a construction official for an inspection of my run- down little empty house in Asbury Park .

He will tell me what we need to complete before the city will release  the RCA money to start their part.

Yikes .   Im scared the requirements are going  to be so onerous  i wont be able to meet them -  that they will set me up for a break in ( one just happened LAST WEEK ) where  they will require me to buy thousands of dollars worth of new cabinets door fixtures etc.. then wont turn the electricity on that is the minimum requirement for a n alarm to secure the house .    In this neighborhood thats like an open invitation to addicts ....

Yikes im scared.  Im also terrified Ill snap  , ill give up like i have many times in the past , that my new nose will become dirty and infected ,  that the City has no intention of releasing any grant money to me and they are just making me play a very expensive game of torture- the - hapless- mouse ...

I know at the very least its going to be backbreakingly difficult work for a few weeks and super- expensive .   I just pray to God  it WORKS and finally gets COMPLETED and successfully RENTED.

Please  swing some lizards 4 me .... thanks !

Hey Ava, what if you thought optimistically about what will happen today?  Don't bring negative energy into it.  Focus on what you want to happen, not on what you don't want.  Why spend the time worrying over things that may not/probably won't happen.

If it were me, I'd be saying "Everything always works out for me", over and over.

Good luck today!

I'd be happy to "swing lizards", but what does that mean?

I wish you good results from your meeting.
