Stress is killing me

So, I have more or less stopped eating from stress.  Now I have never smoked, but the urge to start smoking is so there!!  I so don't want to start drinking.

Oh sweetie!!! I am so sorry that stress is high right now. I just went through all stress crap a few weeks ago that lasted a few months and I so can relate to the "not eating" part. The pouch didn't like it at all and I swear I could feel flips in the gut and burning and pain all over. 

If you can, focus on getting protein in from drinks, drink water, and take your vits. PM me if you need someone to holler at. I may not have answers but can sure listen real well 

You are not alone...you know that...we are ALL here for you!!

Stress is really hard, no matter where it is coming from.  There are some universal stress relievers like exercise, yoga, breathing deeply, meditating.  Smoking won't help, drinking may make you sick.  Try some healthy options first.

 Oh, honey - of course you're under a lot of stress!  Nothing much to add except to fall back on the things you know  will work for you.  Really good exercise.  Make use of the support available to you.  And keep in touch with us as best you can - I've missed you all week!

I was a smoker. This week I have found myself wanting to smoke because I kept picking up food. I needed to do something with my hands and mouth and food was there for me. I am pissed that I turned to food but glad I didnt try to smoke. Dont try it !!!

So sorry to hear you are feeling so stressed out.
Please keep posting and venting and come to us for support.
An ulcer from smokin or drinkin would only compound your stress.
Make sure you are drinking your  protein if you are not eating.

This is what I am using to battle stress....progressive relaxation.
 
When I was told about it, I thought there was no way it would work for me but it is amazing!
The cd I use is Progressive Relaxation and Autogenic Training by Carolyn McManus

The first time I played it I thought "OMG, cheesy harp elavator music...no freakin way!" But 30 minutes later I was hooked! Give it a try...it has been amazing for me :)

This book has also changed the way I deal with stress....it is written by 2 female ob/gyns.

 Babeeeeee,  I'm so sorry to hear this.  I say get out there and walk walk walk.  Keep thinking of things that you can appreciate in your life.  There have to be some.  You can write me to vent anytime.  I hate hearing that you're so stressed.  Slap some good music on and get your feet moving.  Please keep checking in to let us know how you're doing!

Stress sucks! Hang in there, and take up knitting or... I know! I'll link you to instructions for making chain maille, and then you can wear armor at work/home to reduce the stress!

Seriously, you've done so much and come so far - don't let the stress knock you back into a bad place.
