Sounds like if your company approves anyone, you shouldn't have a problem.  I wanted a sleeve but they wouldn't approve that.  As soon as I changed, it was approved.  Then the pre-surgery labs showed diabetes so I got the right surgery after all.

I am in the "UGH" point in the process too, my surgeon won't even see me until they have letters from my PCP, Cardio, & Psych.  Got the PCP and Cardio done this week, getting letter from Psych on Monday- would have gotten it Friday but the person in the office who drafts the letters took the freakin day off! Go figure.   So, I should be able to pick up the Psych letter on Monday and get it to the surgeon's office.  Then, I should get a call from them any time next week to set up appt with him, then things should move much quicker after that.  I was told by the surgeon's office if everything goes smoothly then I should get a surgery date in November.

I'm so happy you found us.  You're going to find out that this is the best forum, where it's all about support and never about drama.   Hopefully you'll hear by the end of the week that you've been approved!  

On a side note.  I wore that black jumper at the conference in Denver last week and felt great it in.  It's looks terrific with a black tshirt and little leggings and sandals. I haven't worn the other top yet.   :)
