Awww Kat, how sweet of you to look for me. That's one of the reasons I love our LW board so darn much. We're small enough not to get lost in the shuffle.
I was in Denver for a business conference. The trip was hard on me. There were feedings every two hours and we went from 7am until late everyday, leaving it too easy to say there was no time for exercise.
I discovered that snacking is very detrimental to my health because I put on 2 pounds while away. Too many carbs, not enough water, very little exercise. Tuesday night was walking around the ballpark in the evening and Wednesday night was walking a couple of miles to a mall, then back to the hotel. Just not the exercise I'm used to.
The good news is that I kicked carbs to the curb the day I got home and it's been very easy to do. It felt so great this morning to get up and do a fast 3.5 miles around the lake. My appetite was very light today, making it easy to eat all protein.
