Teacher of the year banquet was tonight. I didn't win for the county but won for my school. I survived the interview poured out my heart. I wasn't sure how I did but felt I left it all on the field so to speak! It has been a long time that I haven't been to an event like that and didn't feel self conscious. I felt great about myself and what I had done to get that far. I am relieved that my work is over my mission is complete so to speak. I felt cute and confident for the first time in a very long time. Thanks guys for all your support in helping me pick my outfit to listening to me ramble. You were wonderful!
Nothing tastes as good as this feels!
