I have been living on protein drinks and bars lately. Eating and drinking makes my stomach gurgle. Oh yeah I do have a slice of ham and some cashews.

I am glad to hear you at least getting your Protein in. I wrote a long rampageon protein and my internet wouldn't send it. We are having storms here.

Yes, I figure my new life is not about deprivation, but about moderation... I've got all my protein in first, and can afford it in my calories for the day. I like sweets, period. I'd rather have one good homemade cookie, then a ton of yucky dry box type ones. I do dump, so the fear of feeling like that should keep me just savoring that one cookie (they are on the large side too) and taking my time eating it.

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it. Took 8 months.
90+/- pounds lost BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?
