I'm so sorry about your job loss.  What kind of work do you do?

I am an Rn and I was working in the PICU. Thinking of a different direction..thats the great thing about being a nurse..there are alot of options!

I work for the National Park Service, and was wondering if there was a VA center close to you, but I'm thinking not.  I hope you find something soon.

I'm going in for my treadmill on Tuesday, final pre op test, and hoping to be scheduled soon.

I lost my job in April, and it is a shock.

File for unemployment asap. You can do it online now, every easy.
Thanks to congress and the senate, we can get more than our 26 weeks... so do not freak out.
File for Cobra, it will work out. I am on cobra now, and I am doing just fine. First thing I pay every month, Cobra. I can not live with out medical coverage now that my surgery is scheduled. Just found out a half hour ago.
Some of us have had this happen and we are here for you. Do not be discouraged... now you can have a job, perhaps that will be different. My main concern, job with benifits.
You get cobra for 18 months, or I did, so hang in there.
I take anti depressents too, and understand how much a concern this is for you.
