1. Q:  Are you taking your vitamins?
Every single day.

2. Q:  Are YOU checking over your labs?
I had my first labs and everything was fine, 2nd labs (6mo out) will be drawn tomorrow.

3. Q:  Are YOU tracking your labs on a spreadsheet to catch downward trends?
I am going to start one when I get the results from these.

4. Q:  Are the vitamins you are taking working for you?
So far so good, I will know more this time, being further out.

5. Q:  Are YOU addressing particular labs that are problems?
I will if there are any. I think I'm lucky that I don't have malabsorption. I can get a little from food and absorb all of my vitamins.

6. Q: Want to share what's working for you?  Go ahead, please.
1st batch: 2calcium citrate w/vitamin D3, 1 chewable multi w/iron, 1 B12 sublingual, 1 B complex, 1 cinnamon, 1 fiber, 1 garlic, 1 lobelia, 1 ginger root, 1 prilosec, 1 biotin
2nd batch: 2calcium citrate w/vitamin D3, 1 B12 sublingual, 1 fiber, 1 cinnamon
3rd batch: 1 prilosec

1. Q:  Are you taking your vitamins? Most of them every day.   I tend to "forget" my calcium and iron.  Usually just 1 batch of calcium in the morning.  BUT - I'm back in my routine and bringing it to work with me again and taking it.  Iron I hadn't been taking (again) because it seems like I eat/drink something I shouldn't when I want to take it.  So - I now take it before bed.  2 Proefferin with Vit C.  2 days in a row!!  I think this will work for me.  When I had it in the kitchen I always forgot - moved it into the bathroom to be part of my nightly routine.  Oh - I also seem to not take my 2nd multi.  I need to put that in my little pouch with my calciums for the day.

I think I need to start using a vitamin pill organizer again.

2. Q:  Are YOU checking over your labs?  Yes.

3. Q:  Are YOU tracking your labs on a spreadsheet to catch downward trends? Yes.  Time for more labs.

4. Q:  Are the vitamins you are taking working for you? Yes, they seem to be.  I'm always trying to find vits that make it EASIER for me to take, like and stick to my routine.  I ended up not taking the Milk Thistle because it was a capsule.  I couldn't get them down.  Found it in a liquid form.  While it doesn't have the best taste - I can take it and take it every day.  Wha's also nice is the dosage for 1 dropper is the same as 3 capsules I was taking before.

5. Q:  Are YOU addressing particular labs that are problems?  Yes

6. Q: Want to share what's working for you?  Go ahead, please.  It seems the liquid Vit B complex works well for me.  My labs were great when I was taking it - it has additional B12 in it, as well as my sublingual and that shot through the roof.  Liquid Milk Thistle.

Proferrin is different from other irons - you don't take it with vitamin C.

1. Q:  Are you taking your vitamins?   Yes, I do pretty good at this.  Every now and then I forget my night time multi vitamin because it is the only thing I take right before bed.

2. Q:  Are YOU checking over your labs?  Yes and post them so everyone can look at them.

3. Q:  Are YOU tracking your labs on a spreadsheet to catch downward trends?   Yes

4. Q:  Are the vitamins you are taking working for you?  I think so.

5. Q:  Are YOU addressing particular labs that are problems?  I need to add the Milk Thistle because one of my liver enzymes was high last time, but I keep forgetting to go and buy it.

6. Q: Want to share what's working for you?  Go ahead, please.  I use the pill organizer and I use the small zip lock bags for my calcium chews.  I bag lots of them up ahead of time and keep them on my counter and just grab a bag when I pack my lunch bag.  I also keep a spare bag at work in case I forget them.

I'm getting my yearly labs done before the month is out. I'm curious to see if my protein is finally in the normal range. It was pretty close last time.

I take my vitamins religiously.

I get my labs done every 3 months by my Endocrinologist and just had 22 month labs done 2weeks ago and posted them online,. Most were good but a few problems that are being worked on. Mostly levels too high, nothing deficient except my thyroid levels.

Yes, I track my labs on an excel spreadsheet. very helpful to see trends.

Yes, vitamins are working - some working too well and have to cut the doses, only thing I am going to increase is my tender irons - ferritin is good at 91 but I want it higher.

Yes, I am addressing problems. Spoke to Endocrinologist and decreasing vitamin A, increasing tender irons, decreasing vitamin B1, increasing cytomel - keeping vitamin D3 the same this time but if it continues to rise, I will cut it next time - level is 107 which she thinks is too high but I think is fine.

What is working for me? Dry D3 from Biotech (Vitalady.com) 50,000 units 3 times per week, Dry vitamin A - biotech from vitalady.com 50,000 units daily level up to 95(top of normal range so afraid it will go too high), so cutting to 5 times per week. B12 injections 3 times per week. Selenium 200mcg 4 times per week, vitamin B1 - 300mg daily cutting to 5 days per week, 1950mg of calcium citrate from bariatric advantage and 2 centrum silver per day - tender irons - increased from 180mg to 240mg per day
