Fitness Challenge - September 15

Howdy Doody LW's...

What is your plan for today? 

CHALLENGE ALERT!!!   Today, do 1 thing that brings you or pushes you to pass your fitness comfort zone. What do I mean? 

Extra steps added on the pedometer
Extra 1/4 mile run added
Extra reps
Etc, Etc. 

Oh and 1 more thing...have your tracked your food and water intake?? If not, do so...you won't be sorry you did....

For me today, I will be picking up the pace on my post (gynecological) surgery) walk today. Maybe even do a double lap (3miles)...hhhmmm, we'll see...

Rock on LW's!!! Move it gooooooood.

Hi Diana,
I walked 2 1/4 miles today after work.
I haven't walked since Friday and it felt so good to get back out there.  I feel like I have so much energy

Glad you are doing so good after your surgery.

I went to the gym today, did the elliptical machine for the 1st time ever, I lasted 12 minutes, then I walked on the treadmill 23 minutes.  Yesterday I did my resistance training and I am supposed to do it every other day so I didn't do it today.
I need help on my lower abdomen,  I still feel big there.

Nuts!  I didn't see this until waaaay after I finished running this morning.  

But I did another long run today (long for me, not really long) and it went well, though less well than yesterday. It seems that my body is most responsive to a run when I haven't run in a few days, rather than running 2 consecutive days.  Rest is good, I guess.

I do notice myself loving to walk more.  I wore 4 inch stilettos to work today, and even though I had on such ridiculous shoes, I was still interested in walking places rather than taking public transportation/subways.  Losing all this weight helps me to wear my ridiculous shoes more often!

Strangely enough, that was probably how I pushed myself the most today.  Walking everywhere in stilettos as if I had on sneakers.  

(Let's not get into what shoes do to our spines, knees, etc...)
