I've been lurking for weeks and just found the lightweights board today. I THINK I qualify (5'4", 260 pounds) but if I'm in the wrong place, just let me know.
I'm scheduled for revision from lapband to RNY on September 30 and start the liquid diet on the 16th. So......scared or not, here I come

That is great you have a surgery date. I'm waiting for my doctor to review my file for a revision from the lap-band to a RNY.

I have heard no one complain about going from the band to the RNY. I have talked to about 12 people and they all say it was a tremendous relief, they were all successful at losing the weight they wanted to lose.

I can't wait to get the band removed so I can finally be rid of the heartburn and reflux.
