Hope everyone had a Great weekend!  My DD bought an outdoor trampoline and I shocked everyone by getting on it.  My DD even ran and got the video camera.   This is one of the things I would have enjoyed watching everyone else doing and wishing I could join in on the fun.
Guess What...it was as much fun as it looks....!!!!!

Hi Roz & LW's!

Roz, that is awesome that you joined in the fun on the trampoline!  Not only did you and everyone else have a blast, but you are also creating many happy memories for yourself and your family - good for you!!

I am not happy it's Monday, but whatever it takes to get to the weekend - we've got some fun stuff going on next weekend, fall carnival & apple picking! (It will be my first time getting on a carnival ride since surgery).  In my heaviest I had to get off a ride at six flags b/c I couldn't fit the belt across my lap, so I am looking forward to "revenge"!

I'm so excited that you are going to be able to enjoy the rides!!!  We went to Disney when I had lost about 75 pounds and it was so exciting to fit in the seat with my DH and one of our Granddaughters.   Before WLS, I usually sat out because I didn't want to squash anyone.

Really Good Menu and Totals!!

Is Hot Click coffee?  Do you just mix it with water?  A friend of mine is 3 years out and she has been skipping her Protein.  She said she wished they made coffee because she drinks a lot of that.  I copied Gina's recipe but I want to giver her other suggestions too.

Yes, I can't wait for the rides -- I always loved them before I got turned away :(  Not anymore!!!

Click is an Espresso Protein Drink Powder.  I LOVE it!!!  You can drink it hot or cold (I love it hot) just mixed with water, but you can do tons with it.  I buy it on Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/CLICK-Espresso-Protein-16-Ounce-Canist er/dp/B002GKEK7G/ref=pd_sim_gro_1

If your friend loves coffee, she would likely love Click!  I can't get to their website at the moment, but it's www.drinkclick.com, and if she emails them a request for a sample they will mail it to her.

Hi Roz and fellow LWs
Hurray, I am feeling human again.  Everyday really does get better.  I already have one protein drink in and am working on water.  My taste buds don't seem quite as offended by everything today as they did yesterday.  Yesterday my goal was 3 drinks but I never made it past 2.  Today, I'm going to try for 3 or 4.  Water is really good and easy, thank goodness.

I'm so glad you posted!!   Your taste buds will change daily.  What you like today you might not like tomorrow.  Eventually it clears up.  Everything tasted really strong, sweet, tart, or salty to me.

That's good you can do water.

I can never figure out why I have days like that sometimes.  The cheese crackers probably weren't as bad as you think.  A lot better than the potato chips that I ate yesterday.

Do you still make Protein coffee?  Do you use Gina's recipe or do you make yours another way.  My friend hasn't been doing her Protein so I'm giving her samples of mine and I want to give her ideas for coffee since that's mostly what she drinks.   Can you buy Protein coffees?  She is 3 years out and starting to lose her hair again. Scarey!!

I haven't been lately mainly because I ran out of chocolate protein, but will soon be doing it again.

I use Ginas recipe when I have fresh coffee - I sometimes reheat coffee and if I do that, I'll heat it to just under 140 degrees and mix it directly into it.

If she likes hot chocolate she can do protein hot chocolate too.

I mixed my fuzzy navel protein in with crystal lite lemonade today - that was very good and refreshing.

If she drinks coffee then this will be the easiest way for her to get back into getting her protein.  She can do this several times a day if she drinks coffee throughout the day.

I've never tried Pam T's Chai Tea, but people just rave about it.
