we had just decided we would do Houston.
Now........... all is up in the air.
Don's surgery went well, however there was much more damage than they thought.
Not from the ladder fall (minor). Chest pain unknown. Not related WLS. He was fine at 3am. On the floor at 6am.
Neurosurgeon said the condition was there. Age. Still don't know why he fell down (didn't trip, didn't faint, wasn't dizzy), but when he did, he hit something and that finished off C3-6. They went in both front and back, had to rebuild more than they thought.
he's not coming home really soon and maybe go to rehab.
Oh, and they have pretty much declared our RV "totaled" and we dont' know why!
Pretty interesting to lose dh and rv in less than an hour.
No, actually, not doing too well. Have over 300 emails I can't answer. 4 kids who live too far to help us so a little floaty and lost.
again, thanks for the comments and emails you guys have sent.

My original reply got eaten.
Anyway, sounds like Michelle is getting a lot of email so I won't send her one. Hopefully someone is reading her our messages from here.
