Screw it!
Good question...I would want my DH to go with me. Have talked about a family rafting trip w/ DD in CO and their 3 young ones...will have to wait until the baby (2yr) is about 4-5 anyway. And then just find a river and the $$. I hold the thought in subconscious...so it will probably happen at some point. Would love to raft the Grand Canynon...but that might be a bit much for this 60 y.o. LOL.
Dollar wise it might be a decision between a Bridge cruise vs Raft trip...we'll see. Maybe a bridge cruise in 2012 and raft trip 2013!! Thanks for asking.
Good luck tonight!!!

Ballet rocks as a workout - its amazingly difficult and best yet it really helps put U in control of and conscious of Ur posture .
For so many of us our spines have been misaligned by the huge weight weve carried all these years and the telltale aftereffects of WLS l include rolled shoulders and forward head ..
its hard to come back ..ive found flex-a - min type vitamins help , pushups , backbends and just working through the pain. Yoga REALLY helps too.

Yes! My chiropractor has been working with me on my forward head. The daily spine workout he gave me is like a miracle. I think it's much better now.
I have held much of my ballet posture (not the turnout, but the shoulders down, head up) for my whole life. But getting back to my turnout is going to be interesting. I know it's still there because I can do the positions. That's what happens with 6 days a week of ballet in one's youth...I just don't walk around like a duck anymore, thank goodness. ;)
Thanks for the heads up on the vitamins! I will check them out.

That's so wonderful with the ballet classes! I know I just started figure skating again last summer... had to relearn all the skills I had 18 years ago (and UNlearn all the fear I had accumulated about basic skills each time I tried to skate during those havy years!), and still have a long way to go but I love the flying feeling, and you will too!
