I don't want to whine....but

Thanks! I really need to stay off the scale and quit driving myself nuts. I am completely happy and grateful where I am now, but I would like to be in a comfortable 2 instead of a tight 2, loose 4.

Ooo - stay off the scale?  Nooo - I'm not telling you to do that!  It would absolutely drive me bonkers if I didn't have my scale to keep me accountable!  BUT - accept where you are at.

I understand about the tight 2's to 4's.  I was in the same place.  Now I'm comfortable 4 and maybe a loose 6.  AND I weigh the same as I did last year when I hit goal and was a 2-4.

My weight has redistributed down to my butt and thighs so my clothes are fitting differently.  Its not bad, just different and I've accepted that this is the way it will be.

I found that I had become kinda 'stick like' after I lost my weight - I've never been that way - now my curves are back.

So - be prepared for your body to continue to change over the next 1 to 2 years. You may weigh the same, but your clothes may fit differently.

LOL! Thanks for the advice. I'm keeping all my 4's as I move down to 2's. I've already given away anything bigger. I guess if I end up in a 6, I'll have to shop some more. So far I still have curves, I'll probably end up losing mine!

Shannon, you have done GREAT!!!!! Some wonderful advice has been given and it will take longer to take off a few pounds, since your weight is so low right now. I hope that I can be half as successful as you.

Shannon, you're my little rockstar and now you have the avatar to prove it.  :)

I cant wait until I'm on the "other side" (maintenance) and can give advice on topics like this one, but for now I'm quite content to read the wisdom of everyone that's gone before me to learn what works and what doesn't.

I think switching up the exercise a bit is great advice.  My two hikes last weekend really flung me into changes in my body.  I loved it so much that I'm going again this morning on a new trail.

Just remember to appreciate that you're perfect exactly as you are today and that anything else will be icing on your lovely self.

I just love you so much Lee! You motivate and inspire me! I am so happy right now, and if I never changed a bit, I would be very satisfied and proud of myself. Everyone around me keeps telling me I don't need to lose another pound or I will look sickly, ect. But you know how it is, we want to be where we want to be.

My mom is my best friend and truthfully I think we are bad influences on each other, lol. She is underweight and is lucky to find a size 0 that isn't too big, and I think I feel big around her still. And I always tell her these great low carb, fat, and calorie foods and meals I make, and she is losing weight.

Im having the same situation Jodi talked about and then some ( minus the enviable LOSSES ) lol.  The curves coming back ( not mostly in places I WANT either ) the redistribution .   Im frankly more than a little PISSED  that im not getting into the smallest clothes i snagged 4 myself .. and that some of the 2 s even are fitting snugly .

U know what ?  Ill get over it lol.  THere are just too many hot ( right sized ) clothes to wear ....and a little self- love is long overdue too . Obviously these excess empty fat cells arent doing me any good ...but its all a process to get everything off and then have the remainder renovated lol !!

As far as whining goes ..I beg to differ .. I think we have every RIGHT to whine lol .  Darn it we are all heroines ( and even a few heros ) .. and that goes for everyone on OH .... weve fought a Spartan - like more or less futile but even more challenging for all of that battle all our lives to the best of our ability .... and darn it we DESERVE The right to be angry and to kvetch occasionally LOL !!

Sometimes I think that I was AFRAID  to express my true feelings all these years ....particularly anger at my hopeless and endlessly frustrating situation . Of course I expressed it ALL THE TIME  through rebelling with food ....
