Thanks Lin, I'll have to check out Banana Republic.  I tried on an old pair 3 pants from Chico's, I had stuck back in the closet, they were a little big, but can't think I would ever NOT be able to wear a "0" in their pants.  In another 25-30 lbs, 1s will probably fit just right.  Thanks for the encouragement.  I'm so picky about my clothes. LOL

I'm glad you posted!  My niece told me to go to Ban. Rep. but I figured the clothes would be to young.  She also said she loves their dress pants.

What about Talbot's? I think they are similar to Chicos. But I could be wrong.. by the time I started buying a lot of clothes, I had already outgrown Chicos!

I shop at Talbots too...and like there clothes...they are just not usually as "hip" or unique as Chico's, more "classic" (which is one of the reasons I like them very much.  I think I am just gonna keep doing my diet/exercise program the way I am (which is not severe) and just let my weight settle where it wants, or at least that is my plan right now.  If I have to stop shopping at Chico's at some point so be it (I guess) LOL.

thanks for your response...strange things that can get me going LOL...clothes.

My mom sent me Chico clothes when I was losing and I liked them a lot. But I did sort of feel like they were "hip for a middled aged lady who was overweight" instead of just "hip".

Now one of my favorite stores is H&M so maybe that is Chicos for regular sizes? I don't think of it that way, but I do like the clothes so maybe you will to.

I've never heard of H&M...is that short for something?  Or maybe we just have that store here in this city/region  (Mphs).  Sounds like I need to check them out though.  Thanks.

I think they are a National chain.

They don't have them at my local mall and I only realized after I lost weight how much I was limiting myself by only going to that one. Now I got to the one in the next town over and the one in the town my kid goes to school and a few other ones as well and I've found all these new stores!

Oh, they are national but kind of hug the two coasts:
