Mixed feelings re target wt...Chico's may decide LOL

So I went  shopping at MY store...Chico's  (Love, Love them) yesterday.  I WAS able to wear only a few size 3 tops the last 2 yrs...so I didn't really know what to expect.

I didn't try on any pants, but I bought a size 2 blouse, size one jacket and size 0 vest!!!!  This is all GREAT.....BUT  I don't want to get smaller than a size 1 in Chico clothes!!!  (Which I think is about size 6-8 nl size)  I still have 30 lbs to reach NORMAL BMI, and don't want to stop loosing until I at least reach THAT and maybe a few more.

PLEASE tell me there are FANTASTIC clothes, similar to Chico's out there, just in case I do get too small for them.  I would REALLY HATE to not be able to shop there!!  Very mixed feelings here...sounds silly I guess, but it is real.

Have you ever heard of Coldwater Creek?  They are similar to Chico's and a little less expensive.  I know what you mean about Chico's sizing.  I think I'm a 0 there now.

I know what you mean, but you'll find a New Favorite store once you start maintaining.  My taste in clothes changed right a long with my sizes.  My DD's made sure of that...LOL

My favorite store was Dress Barn and now I just walk around the store and then walk out empty handed.  My niece gave me a $50.00 gc for Christmas and so far I've bought a necklace that was on clearnance.  I went from the Regular to Plus to Regular to Petite and now even most of them are too big.  I'm hoping I might be able to find a sweater when all of the fall things are in.  I figured that I can wear it a little bigger.

Thanks, Roz!!!  I have to pray I will find a new store if I "under-grow" Chico's.  I know it is silly, but.....I would be so sad.

Sigh....such a problem girl friend!!  I never could find anything at Chico's, I think it's because I couldn't get into their weird sizing I guess.  BUT my favorite store is Cold Water Creek.  I shop online and only buy things out of their "outlet" area of the web site.  I have gotten some really pretty and unique clothes there.  I do have a suggestion if you do get to small for some of these stores, you can always shop in the Juniors departments.  You may have to shop a little harder to get clothes that won't make you look like a hoochie mama or a clown, but I think it can be done.  Don't let clothes get in the way of your ideal weight.  You'll find clothes.  Keep up the great job and enjoy!!!

Thanks, Mari....I somethimes wonder if I am looking for an excuse to stop loosing wt., but I really don't think so.  I just LOVE Chico's clothes.  BUT....if I have to give them up , I will even if kicking and streaming...cause I INTEND to be a "Normal" BMI...  Besides...at this point I don't think I could stop loosing wt. because I am eating just about anything I want....mainly health, but with reasable cheats and eating enough to satisfy me (about 1000 cal a day).  I don't want to go back to eating fast foods and over endulging everyday at every meal even if I could.

I have been to Coldwater Creek, it's been a while....but they are just not the same :(  But, I have to keep the faith I will be able to find unique and beautiful clothes somewhere....even if in the junior dept.!!!

Chicos is just one store. You are able to shop in ALL the stores now! There are plenty out there and some of them have some fantastic stuff.

It can be a little overwhelming. I had to make a list of all the stores. Then I started visiting them one by one and deciding if they were "my" store or not. I'm still working my way through the list and it's kind of fun, actually.

Thanks, that gives me hope, and you are a lot smaller than I'm ever gonna be.  Here I am at 179 and thinking I will be too small at 140-150!!!  I guess just finding new stores will be "different",   guess I don't always like change....except, I love the way I am beginning to look!!!  Thanks again.

I also love Chicos.  I am a size 2 and can no longer fit in their pants, but I can buy the 0 in their tops.  I also find coldwater creek too large.  Check out Banana Republic--especially their outlet stores.  I find more there than in their regular store.-- I love the way their pants fit and I am not small enough for most of their 0, so I just usually buy a 2.  They have some really cute tops and short sleeve crop cardigans.  Their clothes don't look too young.  They're kind of work casual but have a nice finish and flair to their pants.  Being short, I have to have everything hemmed so I am glad to pay the outlet prices.  Pants run about $36 unless on clearance but wash up well and well worth the price.  Lin.
