Always Eating?

I seem like I'm eating all the time!! Is this because it takes so little to fill me?  Just haven't gotten the hang of this yet.  I just got off of 2 weeks of liquids. Made something I really like last night, and of course wanted to eat way more, but couldn't. Easily satisfied.  Just don't want to eat too often.  Any thoughts?

In the beginning I felt like I ate all the time too. Now I feel like (and actually do) drink water all the time. I still eat 6 times a day, but it is much easier to get the protein in and I wait about 3 hours between meals and snacks.

I eat 5 or 6 times a day. I feel like I eat all the time, too, but my calorie count is still good at the end of the day.

I definatley eat about six times a day and in between I am drinking water or crystal light...As long as you focus on the nutritional goals your team gave you, you are doing fine.

I eat three times a day, sometimes a snack thrown in.  I got hungry on day 10 and stayed that way until I started pureed foods.  Then I got filled up.  We're all different and have different plans.  What surgery did you have?  How are you feeling?

Congratulations on your surgery!

Hey,
I had the sleeve on 8/24/10 and I feel great!! I know everyone's different.  I guess I still feel like I have to watch everything I eat like I'm back dieting again.  I've lost 20 lbs, and I just don't want to sabotage it.  Thanks for the congratulations!!

I found this summer I was always eating and had to consciously cut back to 3 meals and two snacks to get off about 4 lbs that I gained.  Don't every want to go there again.  It helped me to post on daily plate to be accountable to the total calories and carbs.  Lin

I know what you mean.  I am eating snacks now, and I never did before (just way over ate during meals).  I post/track on fitday.com, and keep my calories, carbs and proteins in check, as long as you do that probably doesn't matter how often you eat.

I feel like I'm eating all of the time too, but I've found that because I eat small amounts each time I eat that at 2 years out, I still have a lot of restriction.  I still can't sit down and eat meals like 3 oz. of protein, a carb, a vegetable etc.  I'm lucky to get the 3 oz. of Protein in.  I think the most important thing is to post on fitday.com, dailyplate.com, or something similiar.  Make sure you watch your "bad" carbs like bread, pasta, rice, and potatoes and plan your meals around Protein.

Have you been reading the Menus and Miles?  It has really helped me be accountable and gives you an idea of what others are eating. Although most of us are pretty boring and have daily routines that we stick to every day.  I don't seem to obsess over food on most days so having a daily routine just makes life simplier.
