Fitness Challenge - September 7th

 Good Morning Peeps!

Time to get out and get moving.  The long weekend for some of us is over and time to get back into the work grove.  I had a wonderful weekend that centered around exercise and shopping.  What the heck could be better and my scale rewarded me for my hard work!  I'm so excited.  I wish I didn't have to work today so I could go hiking. But I have work today with an 8 am meeting, then meditation group tonight.  Exercise takes care of my body, meditation my mind.

I'm short on time this morning because my boss wants an 8am meeting so I need to get to the office by 7:30 to print and review some documents that are up for discussion.  So no long walk around the lake for me.  

Here's my plan.

Walk short to work - 15 minutes
Walk at lunchtime - 30 minutes
Walk short home - 15 minutes   If I get out early enough I may walk 45 minutes home if there's still time for the 45 minute drive to meditation.

So what's your plan??   :)

Good Morning Lee! You are getting really close to goal. You so deserve it, you have clawed and fought the whole way. It's so inspirational that you have never given up, no matter how hard it's been for you.

Today I'm going to jog on the treadmill for 45 minutes and do my crunches and push-ups.

I'm going to be training for another race. It's another 5k, October 16th. I would like to beat my time by at least a few seconds. DH is running with me on this one, but he doesn't work out or run much. I told him he better get his butt off the couch and run with me, 'cause I won't wait for him on race day, I'll beat him in a heartbeat!

2 walks so far, for 4,442 steps, and 40 leaning push-ups.

lol Don't kill me...I did 80 push-ups and ended up with 9,990 steps today. 4 -15 minute walks.
