New Multi-Vitamins

I need some suggestions for a new multi-vitamin, that is high in Vit D. I am using BA Complete Multi Formula, Berry Chewables (that has 1000 IU Vit D per serving).  I take two servings a day, one in the morning and one at night time. The problems is that it is irritating to my stomach. I have to take previcid for stomach, and it think the vitamins are doing it.

I have not been taken my vitamins for a while (being honest), and I knew I need to get back on them, and I had not taken my previcid in a while either. So I took my vitamins without thinking about taking my previcid, and yeup I threw up my vitamins. So my doctor said I could switch(back at my six month check up) but I don't even know where to begin. I know I don't like Celebrate vitamins. Any ideas would help!  Thanks!!

I like chewables.  Centrum Silver has a good tasting chewable. I'll get them if I'm out and haven't received my BA order by then.  I also like the Bariatric Advantage watermelon (chewable)  They have other flavors too.  I take a Dry D3 separate from my vitamins.  I get my Dry D3 from Vitalady  You can get them in a sublingual or pill.  They are capsules and are quite small.  Right now I have 50,000iu and I take about 3 a week. I'm having issues swallowing pills unless they're small.  Vitamins seem to be BIG.

Honestly I wouldn't rely on the D3 that's in the vitamins to give you all you'll need.

I take Prevacid every day and probably will be for life.  I can definitely tell when I don't take it for a few days.

The same thing happened to me. My Vits were upsetting the pouch. I called my Dr and she sad to stop for 2 days... I did and it helped. The I had to slowly introduce them back, one at a time. I started with Centrum chewables for 2 days, then I added chewable calcium back in. I was taking normal Citrical and the pills are so huge. I think that may have been one of the culprits. Then I added the B-12 and dry D3. A week after I added B complex back into the mix.
I think just changing to chewables for Multi's and Calcium helped ALOT.
Make sure you take your previcid. Hope it gets better

I am definatley going to be taking my previcid.  I am just not good with pills, so it has to be a chewable. I can't take big pills, I choke, and get sick. I do good with small pills but multi's are not usually small. I will have to check out VitaLady.

You might also try Swanson's Vitamins.  I ordered a calcium citrate chewable and B12 from them.  They have lots of different chewables and their prices are very good.

Missy - I have a big bag of clothes for you.  Lots of size 10, 12 and some 8 pants/jeans.  A few sweaters.

Fri night is probably ok.  My daughter is pregnant and I'm "on call" to run downstate if she goes into labor, so it could change.

You work at the casino?  I could always meet you there some time.

Jody,
That would be great! If you want to meet me at the casino. Just give me a call sometime. I am off tomorrow for my daughters first day of school.  Talk to you soon! :)

What I do is take my Vitamin D separately. Because it's fat soluble, you can take a lot at once every once in a while. I take 50,000 IU every Monday in one pill. This works a lot better for me than taking a bunch of pills a couple of times a day.

Now, there is also Vitamin D in my Calcium (to help it absorb) and in my Multi, but not a lot.
