Diana!!!  So great to see you here with us.  I'm so glad you got out of the house today.  It sounds like it was a good outing.  I'm so happy your hubby is there with you!!   How great that the pain gets a bit better everyday.

Don't stress your body.  You go for those slow walks until your doc clears you for more.  The last thing we want you to do is hurt yourself or have a setback in your recovery.

That said, please keep checking in because we love knowing how you are!

Hi Lee,
I have chased and played with my DGD's since yesterday morning.  The last one went home this afternoon.

I cleaned my house really good this afternoon - bathrooms and all!!  I remember so well before surgery it was all I could do to get my house clean and I would be sweating and have to sit down in between the bathrooms and vacuuming.  Today I was so shocked that when I finished with everything I was not even hot!!

Back to walking tomorrow.  Hope you are having a great weekend.

Linda, isn't it amazing the difference 104 pounds makes!!!  I too remember getting tired out so quickly before and never wanting to finish projects.  It's great to have so much energy.

Heck, you burned a lot of energy chasing your DGD around!!

I walked three miles briskly. Today is the day my training plan calls for an easy three.

Cheryl, three miles is fantastic!   What kind of training are you doing?

I am training to run a half marathon in November. The training plan has you do two runs during the week, a long run on Saturday that keeps getting longer each week. And then on Sunday you do an easy three miles. I run so slow that to make it any easier I have to walk it. Thats fine with me. I just take the dog and we go.
