Feeling so blessed!

Hi guys!
I have had such a good day today! I am feeling so encouraged and optimistic about today and the days to come.
I had a lovely walk with my Buddy (yellow lab) this morning, beat the rain.
Made a new friend today from OH, we have the same surgeon and I got to talk with Joan today on the phone. It was so cool to talk with her.

I cant wear my wedding band anymore, its too big. The original is still too small.
All my work clothes, new and old are too big, as are my jeans and shorts.
My boobs are deflating!! But the neck and shoulder pains are improving with losing some of these DDD's. Wonder what I am now?

I am so blessed. I havent had any real problems. Not a lot of pain or nausea. Feel a little guilty when I read about some many that have problems postop. Not saying that I am perfect, some days it is so hard to hit 60 grams of protein and all the liquids and supplements, but I am getting better everyday.

I am also so thankful for OH and all you fantastic lightweights! Without you, this journey would have been so much more difficult.

Well, thanks for listening to me ramble in my euphoria this evening!

You are doing really well! Keep up the good work and the positive attitude! Don't get discouraged if one of those "bad days" comes, everyone has one eventually.

Maria,
Glad you are doing so good.  It is definitely and up and down journey.  Luckily sounds like you are having a lot more ups, so did I.

I agree that OH really helps.  I think it is great that we can all share in our different experiences and get such great advise from others who have already been through it.

Hope you have a great long weekend.

I love it when people say they are so blessed!  We all have a habbit of complaining about things and never take the time to be thankful for what we do have.  It just made me smile this morning, thank you!  I also am blessed!

Don't feel guilty -- it's a wasted emotion. I too had no post op problems and just kind of sailed through! Glad to hear it

You've got a great attitude and you've done great!

If you want to know what your "girls" are - go to Victorias Secret or Nordstroms and get measured.  They have "odd sizing" and can help you out.  It took awhile before a VS bra would fit me correctly but I love my new bras now!

It will get easier to get your protein  and liquids in as time goes on.  Add a protein shake (counts as fluids too) and you'll be there!
