"Your're not going to loose anymore weight, are you?"
I am getting this daily! I was 193 and 5ft 1 at surgery....today I am 112lbs. People act hesitant then they ask the inevitable. It is usually followed by we've been so worried about you but you look good. I respond with "I feel good" EVEN on days when I don't feel good I still say I do to keep their comments to themselves. I saw my 12th grade english teacher in the grocery store today. She made small talk then she came up to me later and said, "Danielle you are so tiny...what in the world...when did this happen?" I said remember when I was in high school and my mom was sick well last year I began to show signs that I could get that sick and decided to do something about it. In November I had gastric bypass. I said I nearly died but it was worth it and I'm still here. She said yeah I guess so what's left of ya. She is a heavy set lady. I smiled and laughed and walked away. This is a similar response I get from alot of people.
I've been a little panic stricken lately that my weightloss isn't going to stop. I don't want to look unhealthy. Dr. says not to worry unless I start losing my hair or skin changes. Everyone here promises that I will hit a point them bouce back 5-10 lbs that would put me about 120 which would be perfect. I am to the point it is hard to find clothes. Alot of 4's are too big imagine that. Guess I will just get used to using a tailor to make adjustments where needed. Good luck as you approach your goal.

Don't let yourself be swayed by anyone. Keep going on your weight loss until you feel that you are at your optimum health. You may want to get lower than the top end of the normal BMI scale. You want to get below goal so that you have a little bit of bounce back room.
Like others have said, people are so used to seeing us as overweight that they don't know what normal looks like for us. They will adjust. Just give them time.
Hugs,
