Hello from Wyoming
Some of you may recall that DH and I left for vacation to Jackson,Wy on July 30th. Well,I am still here!
On the day we were to leave for home DH had a mini stroke...a TIA. He spent four days in two different hospitals and after having every test known to God and man, finally we found out that he has narrowing of the carotid arteries...the ones in the neck but his narrowing is in the part of the arteries past his neck and between his jaw and ear.
He is fine and has 2 new medicines and an adjustment on one he was already taking. We decided to stay another week to see how he did on the new meds. As we were preparing to leave again, our son,who we are visiting had a series of issues that laid him pretty low and close to depression. We just didn't feel like we could leave him then.
DH flew home jesterday and I decided to stay a little longer since I was here. Ds is doing better but I'm not reADY to leave yet. DH can't drive till he is cleared by his cardio in Nashville and I can't drive long distances well so after he is cleared to drive he will fly back out and we will drive home as we drove out here.
I have had a very easy time with my meals, liquids and vitamins. I have eaten off plan some even had some sweets, but don't seem to be drawn to anything in a craving way. I lost 4 # after the first 10 days we were here(found a scale in the ER,LOL)but haven't been able to weigh since then. DH and I rode bikes every day and sometimes twice a day xcept when he was in the hospital. The weather has been beautiful but this week has been colder and rainy. Fall is coming to Jackson
I guess now that vacation is officially over,I will start posting on M&M again. I hamissed reading from all of you and even we had a netbook with us,time always seemed to get away from me,lol.
Best to all,
Holly

Thanks so much. You know,DH and I were not really feeling stressed. Now,DS was about to have a fit, lol. He was so worried about his dad. DH and I knew that he was in God's hands,no mattewr what. We feel like God was keeping us safe and keeping this from happening while we were on the road in the middle of Nowhere,Nebraska! How much better for us to be here near our son and neal excellent medical help!
It is so true that our tool works 24/7 no matter what is going on.
