Thanks Linda.  We are going to secure my Aunt's Cape house (she lives in AR) and hunker down &  ride out the storm Fri nite, and hopefully get to enjoy the rest of the weekend there.  I just hope they open the beaches by Sunday, my daughter is looking forward to going!

Thanks Linda!  Mom lives about 10 minutes away from me but it is right on my way to work.  I have been trying to get her to come and live with me but she won't give up her independence.  I dread the time we will have to make her move.  She has been a widow since she was 43 and she is very stubborn.

It's funny how our tummy's can stay cranky for a few days after they get riled up.   Good Totals!

It is hard for them to give up that independence.  A year after my MIL passed away, my husband's step father found out he had pancreatic cancer.  Some of his kids wanted to put him in a nursing home.  DH's mom and him got married about 8 months after we did, so he was the only Father in law I knew and the only grandfather my kids knew on DH's side.  He came and lived with us for about 6 months and we had the best time together.  It was really hard on him at first, but he adjusted pretty good.  It was even harder to take his car keys away, but he did not have the motor skills left to drive and would have hurt himself or someone else.

I'm having cottage cheese for supper tonight, it still doesn't feel really good.

Take care of yourself.
