Fitness Challenge - September 1st!!!
I did, thanks, Lee!
Today I ran farther than ever! Just a little more, but it's making me feel good to see these gradual, incremental changes in my exercise routine.
Ran a little over my 2 miles. Did my 200 crunches, 40 push ups, and walked 3 miles because I had my surgery support group, which is a mile away from my job.
My gym is in my building. I always feel a bit self-conscious about walking around in my gym clothes in my lobby because they always seem to be tight and low-cut.
So today I'm walking back after getting all hot and sweaty in the gym, and this cable guy approaches me wanting to give me his phone number. I told him no thanks, "I'm attached" (which is a lie, it just seemed nicer) and he started to give me a lecture on how its weird to say that you're attached, etc. In the middle of his lecture I put my headphones back on (why do people try to talk to you when you're clearly enjoying your music???) and pretended to listen until the elevator (finally) came.
Rosa
PS - Jerry Seinfeld would ask why one would take the elevator after going to the gym. The answer is that I live 30 floors up.
