Last weigh in before surgery

Yesterday was my last weigh in before surgery and last diet class.  Even though I have been very faithful to this darn Optifast diet, and know I have to be losing, why do the scales produce such anxiety?  I did meet my goal so my surgery is on.  I meet Thurs with the hospital and staff and will find out my time then.
Until next Wed, I have to stay on the optifast.  Then Wed. is clear liquids, Thurs is surgery, yahoo.

Price, you have done an amazing job on your pre-op diet.  I know you will be very successful after your surgery!!  Keep up the great work.

Glad everything is a go for next Thursday.

Thanks everyone.  One thing that a 4 week pre-surgery diet does besides shrink the liver, and all that, is get you somewhat detached from food.  Although I still look forward to the real food meal, it isn't even as important as it used to be.  I think I will do fine.
