Good Morning!  Well, it's official....as of this morning my stall has lasted 3 weeks....I'm totally stuck at 185!!   I heard they call this the "3 week stall" but nobody told me it was really the 3rd, 4th, and 5th week stall!

Of course, I know this will pass.  I'm doing all the right things.....I've tried all the stall busting tricks---gym, adding calories, adding complex carbs, adding extra protein drinks.   Oh well, just venting!   When it FINALLY breaks--ya'll will be the FIRST to know!!!

Just curious, what was your LONGEST stall????

Heh heh try 5 months Peyton..... yep ive been the exact same weight for almost half a year....

actually if we want to be brutally  HONEST ....I GAINED . because i was a size or two smaller when i started my stall last spring ....

so dont feel bad ..lol   we all do what we can,  the  weight comes off when it wants to .... and were not in control LOL.

But i will say this ..now that U can exercise if U walk as much as U can , do pushups, crunches  etc.... ( after Uve thoroughly healed inside - wait eight weeks at least post op ) Ur skin will bounce back a lot tighter and U will lose faster .....

good luck Hun

Stalls happen to most everyone.  I've had three months out of six where I lost only 3 pounds each month.  During month six I exercised 2-3 hours, 7 days a week and went three weeks without losing 1 ounce.  Yup, no movement on the scale at all.

Just keep doing what your doctor told you and it will start to come off again.  That's a promise!  You're still very early out.

I had a 6-week stall during which I lost the same 2-3 pounds over and over again.  Very frustrating!  But after the stall broke, I quickly lost another 10 pounds and have been losing steadily since then - although now at a slower pace.

So there is hope!  Just keep plugging away doing all the right things, and sooner or later it will all kick in.

Best of luck!

Don't worry it will happen! Just keep doing what you are suppose to be doing! In May I started to stall for 2 to 3 weeks.  It is always before Aunt Flo visits, and as soon as that is done I lose the weight for a couple of days.

I stalled one week out for five weeks.  Don't despair.  It starts again

I know this isn't my thread, but thanks for the insight!  I am almost 2 weeks out and haven't lost an ounce in 3 days.  I am drinking 2 oz. protein and liquids every half hour, just like the doctor said.  I start full liquids this week, maybe that will help??  I am just started walking so maybe that will break the stall!  I am sure it is just a phase, but a frustrating one!!

Hang in there Peyton.  This too shall pass!!

Try to change things up a little bit for a couple of days and see if that will start you moving again.  Do you do protein drinks?  If so, try to add another one in for a couple of days.  Or try changing your exercise some and do something different for a while.

Good luck.

Ahhh yes, the dreaded 3 week stall. I remember it well.  Mine lasted 3  1/2 weeks.  As the others said, keep doing what you're doing, that darn scale will eventually move.  Good luck!  Cindy
