 Good Morning Movers!

If you're new here at our LW board, please feel free to join in.  We challenge ourselves to move.  There's no competition except with ourselves.  So don't be shy, the more the better in our quest for creating a beautiful, healthy body.

Who's got a plan today?

I'm slow moving so far this morning but that's about to change as a WLS buddy or maybe two are showing up in 20 minutes to walk the lake (3.5) miles.  I'm amazed at how much faster my little legs move now that they're not carrying a 70 pounds sack of dog food.

After the walk I'm headed down to the gym to work on my arms and core.

So what are you up to?   Anyone run faster or longer this week?  Anyone hit a fitness milestone this week?  Anything new to report?  There's nothing to big or small to report.  Bring it on LW's!

Hi Lee,
I'm going to do something today - just not sure what.  I'll probably either walk outside or do the Walk Away the Pounds CD.
I'll update later!!

You always have a plan for your exercise - I just seem to fly by the seat of my pants and I think that is part of my problem and why it doesn't get done some days!!  I need to plan my exercise like I plan my food.

Linda,  if I don't have a plan, I don't exercise.  My only prayer is to have a plan and to know that I'll be accountable for my choices.  I think that I'm naturally lazy about exercise.

I did 35 min on the Wii Fit.
Not sure I will get in everyday exercise this week.  I have meetings, Drs, etc, and work.  Actually, this is my last week of work with a client.  I'll still do my paperwork from home but I'm taking a few days off to get the house straight and take one pony to the trainer before surgery.

Ran my first 5k today in 33:50 minutes. I usually run a 12-13 minute mile, so I was super pleased with my time. It was also a small race, so I finished first out of like two or three in my gender/age group. Now I need to find a 10k for next month and get to training. :)
