I had a pretty calm relaxing weekend - how about you?  Just got word that my new little great nephew isn't doing good.  His bowel was full of blood.

I can't believe you didn't make ice cream on these hot days.  I've been thinking about making some cheese cake too before all of the strawberries are gone.

I wish I had entered my Chocolate Mint protein wrong.  I don't remember how many fats it had, but I think it had 11 carbs so I didn't buy any more of it, but I have been thinking about getting another jug of it.  I really enjoyed it in the morning mixed with my Cookies n Creme. I don't often consider "good" carbs or fats  so I don't know why I'm worried about 11 carbs especially when it's in Protein.

Oh Roz, I'm sorry about your little great nephew.  I hope they can find the cause and fix it.

I've thought about making some protein ice cream.  I need to do this because it would be a better choice than some of my choices lately!!

11 carbs is not too bad.  I think you would be ok with that especially if it is something that you like.  It has got to be better than cookies or doughnuts!!

Hi Roz and lightweights. Super busy weekend, but I did great with my totals. Just got home from class, and when I picked DS up from the sitter, I had to pound on the door for 5 minutes, finally let myself in, and heard the babysitter and her husband upstairs screaming and yelling at each other. So I'm going to have a busy afternoon finding a daycare for him. Anyway, here's my totals:

B: gnc and coffee
S: rtd pure shake
L: grilled chicken
S: carbmaster yogurt
D: turkey meatloaf
S: celery and pb2

Cal: 588, fat: 14, carb: 22, prot: 97
Vitamins: Done, Water: 8 cups so far, exercise: ran 3.5 miles, crunches, push ups

I work with daycares all day long and in my opinion unless you have a family member that you can trust, I would use a center or group day care.  They are more professional and they don't let family issues get in the way of them doing a good job.  Make sure they are state registered.  Doesn't your school have a day care on campus?

Good plan today!

No, unfortunately. I go to a very small community college in a small town right next to the tiny town I live in. If I end up transferring to a bigger school (I'm applying to 3 nursing programs for next fall), they all have daycares.

I'm back... had a sudden change in plans, schedule and scenery as we pulled up and flew to FL to be with my husbands family at the passing of his mother.  Out of my routine, I found it a bit difficult to find foods I could tolerate (heavy southern cooking there!) till I took on the cooking for the family group on day 4.   Ran out of protein pdr fast- and couldn't find something I was familiar with in the area stores... Heat index was over 105 most days so I tried to walk early in AM, but missed a couple of days       so-- we'll see how my weight fared at tomorrows weigh in.

Today's plan:
B:  Egg, cheese, canadian bacon   (18g)
S:  Atkins breakfast bar  (10g)
L:  Chicken club sandwich  (25g)
S:  Fuzzy Naval protein shake (30g)
D:  Vegetarian burrito bowl  (33g)

protein goal:  116g+
vitamins- on track
fluids- on track
