TWO great things happened today!
First - I took my daughter back-to-school shopping. We stopped at Old Navy to look for some shorts and we went through the clearance stuff. I found a cute pair of jeans - size 10 - and I thought, these would make great goal jeans for when I lose a little bit more weight. So I went to the dressing room with my daughter and tried on the jeans - AND THEY FIT! I could button them up and get the zip up - sure, they were a tad snug - BUT THEY FIT!
Then this afternoon we went to my niece's 16th birthday. She had a bunch of her friends there, along with family. They started a game of volleyball - AND I PLAYED TOO! I kept right up with everyone else, I didn't get tired, I didn't feel limited by my size - it was great.
I am so thankful for this surgery and the opportunity to be healthier and fitter and more active.

Hi Linda! I'm so excited about both of your wows yesterday. Playing volleyball and keeping up? Now how cool is that! Now about that second wow, those size 10's, did you just want to sit down and cry for joy in the dressing room? That must have felt amazing to know that you're just one size away from a glorious 8!!!
Kudos on working your tool and getting so healthy!
