My husband has his Fantasy Football League draft tonight.  That means I get the whole house to myself.  I'm looking forward to some me time.

Tomorrow is time with friends in the evening.  Absolutely nothing on our schedule Sunday.  That means we can't avoid the laundry.  It needs to be done.  Next Friday we are going on trip for our anniversary.  We'll need the clean clothes.

Well, I should be scrubbing toilets, but will avoid doing so if possible!

I will have my great-niece spend the night tonight. We may go to the hot air balloon festival where they play music and the balloons light up at night. Should be beautiful.

Then, on Sunday, I am running my first 5k. I know I can do it, but I'm super nervous about it.

I love hot air balloons, that sounds like great fun.
You will do fine in your run.  Remember, to finish is to win.  I remember my first one.  The 10K runners came in before me but I did it and that was what was important.

I got into a cool blue funk with my resumption of OA meetings and a touch of depression /frustration with my lack of weight loss and ever increasing intake ....before them too actually .

So Ive been moping around grazing refusing to do business and watching trashy TV ( and not exercising of course )  .  Well for the first time in a long time ( four OA meetings in three days later ) im BAACK .

Had an abstinent meal .... feel un- tempted to graze until lunch , am heading out to walk or blade ..... and about to pick up the phone to WORK .

Ive been out to the garden already to pick and prepare ....just generally GRATEFUL and once again HOPEFUL  thank God .

Yes its inevitable that bad self destructive patterns should come up after GB , because this compulsive overeating disease is about so much MORE than just the food being yummy for some  if not most of us , certainly for ME .

Focusing on remedying these patterns through OA  or paid therapy is painful and like pulling the bandage of denial off a painful wound - it hurts and makes U want to graze and act  out ( procrastinate in my case)

In the long term though focusing on these problems  through OA DOES provide answers and doing the STEPS  DOES  work ....

Whether or not I WANT  to take the time to do the steps again ... Im being FORCED to by my grazing ....   I sure hope it HELPS .

Not much here...it has finally cooled off here too. The cats are enjoying the opened windows and so are we.

Tonight is the first high school football game and we are thinking about going.  We haven't been in years - probably since DS graduated.

My sister and her husband are coming late tonight to spend the night and we are going to eat breakfast in the morning before they leave for Florida.  We are the motel for people traveling through to Florida!!  I love it.

I might go swimming with DD & DGD#2 tomorrow afternoon.  I have got to clean my bathrooms.  I have the same problem with DH's aim!!  Atleast he is raising the seat up now....

Sunday is church and a rest day.  Not much planned this weekend.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Going to reach a goal I set in January, finish a bike ride called the Hotter-N-Hell in Wichita Falls Texas. I wont go the full 100 miles, I can't do it.  But I am going to do the best I can.
