Stuff You Might be Up To When You Feel Great (Pics)
First of all, one of the many obvious things you might feel up to do after you feel great about your bodies is take pics... lots of them! We go from hiding behind friends on group pics to "hey, ME, ME, ME, take my pic, NOW".
In addition to loving the camera, I find myself loving to do more challenging (physically and emotionally) fun activities.
---- Here is a question and request for YOU: WHAT awesome things have you done post op? Post PICS if you have them. I know we have some super athletes and daredevils around! Come on, babesssssss, share! I need new ideas!
The first pics I took at a street festival we have here in Baltimore called HONFEST, where women dress tacky outfits with lepard print, wear beehives, heavy makeup (blue shadows and pink lipstick, please) and walk around like divas. It's sort of inspired in that movie "Pink Flamingos". Some of my LW FB babes probably have seen this already, but I'm sharing with my other LW babes for a laugh.
The last pics are me and DH in Cancún doing some underwater explorer. For someone who used to go to the beach absolutely covered up and not even get close to the water, this is a major improvement.
I'm having a great day on my high heels today. WOO HOO!

Fabulous pictures Lia! I have to think about this one... not sure what I've done, if anything...
Well - ok, one thing I can think of is I ran a 5K called the "Jingle Bell Fun Run" last December. I've never ran a 5K let alone in the SNOW. It was snowing big fluffy flakes on us, the road was snow covered just enough so you didn't slip and slide, it was almost like running through sand at times - and I DID IT!! We had little jingle bells tied to our shoes and you could hear all the jingles as you ran. It was a beautiful (night) - with all the Christmas lights out on the houses as we ran by.
What was a good motivator to keep running was, when I went down to a walk, I got cold!! Running kept me warm!
It was a family event and it was great seeing the kids out there too - even in strollers as the parents jogged with them.

I rode a horse last fall at our family reunion. My nephew lifted me off and on it...LOL That definitely wouldn't have been possible the year before that!
