RNY 8/16/08. I lost 98 pounds, 3 pounds from my surgeons goal. I have had a little bounce back but am maintaining a 75-80 lb weight loss on any given day after 2 years. I know my tool still works and I am happier in that 90 - 95 pound weight loss area. So I am a work in progress and am confident I will achieve my sweet spot. But with all that said life is good today. I may not be where I want to be but I am a lot better off than I ever was and most importantly "I am happy."

I had the DS in June 2010.
I'm 5'8" ish. My original goal was to lose 108 lbs from my surgery weight (248 lbs. to 140 lbs.)...then I changed it to 98 lbs (150 lbs)...now I'm working with 88 lbs (160 lbs). I don't want to set myself up for failure psychologically if I don't get to a 'magic' number. If/when I do lose the 88 lbs, I will be in the BMI normal weight range with about 5 bouncing pounds to spare.
