citrical petites -dosing not what you might think

I have read so many posts this week and I couldnt' believe how many people are misinformed about the dosing on citrical petites.  It is very important when buying supplements to read the bottle carefully, including the dosing information.  Citrical petites are only 200mg each, where many of you think they are 400mg each - the bottle does say 400mg per serving but a serving is for 2 tablets.  It is necessary to take 1500mg -1800mg per day, in 3 daily doses atleast 2 hours apart and not within 2hours of your iron or thyroid medication and no more than 650mg at a time.  With the petites, you can take 3 at a time and take them 3 times per day.  This gives you 1800mg per day.  If you only want 1600mg, at one of the doses, only take 2.

I take 8 calcium citrate petites per day, 4 at a time, at least 4 hours away from my MVI and iron.

You are close to being right.  You can't take 4 at a time.  You can't absorb more than 650mg at a time - taking 4 at a time, you are taking 800mg at a time, so you aren't absorbing it all and you are waisting some of it.  You need to take 3 at a time, 3 times per day - 2 hours apart and atleast 2 hours away from your iron or multi - if your multi has iron in it.  IF your multi has no iron, then you can take the calcium and multi together.  I take a multi with no iron and take a separate iron supplement.  This makes my dosing of calcium and multi much easier.
